I currently serve as a Trustee (Governance & Data Protection) on the 2nd Mortlake Scout Group Trustee Board in Richmond District (UK Scouts). My responsibilities include supporting governance, reviewing GDPR and privacy frameworks, and assisting with digital compliance and communication practices in line with the Scouts' Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR). This role reflects my broader commitment to ethical governance and community innovation — combining my experience in science, technology, and psychology to help strengthen accountability and digital safety within youth organisations.

My name is Paing Soe Khant (Paing Khant), a Medical Science graduate from the University of Chester, England, with experience spanning Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biotechnology, Brain–computer interfaces, Psychology, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

I combine a background in science with practical experience in AI, machine learning, and human behaviour to create solutions that connect technology, health, and education. Over the past two years, I've worked daily with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and DeepSeek — using them to support research, improve communication, and explore how human reasoning and AI can complement one another in creative work.

Alongside my research interests, I have strong people and leadership experience built through years of teamwork, collaboration, and recruitment. As the founder of FairoTrust and other early-stage projects, I've led small, diverse teams across biotech, AI, and data platforms — defining strategies, coordinating with engineers and scientists, and learning how to balance vision with execution. These roles have strengthened my ability to listen, communicate clearly, and work effectively with others toward shared goals.

My background in data analysis, product design, and systems thinking also extends to areas like business strategy, finance, and youth innovation. I'm focused on building ethical, human-centred tools and programmes that help people develop the mindset and skills needed for the future.

I'm deeply committed to continuous learning, not just for myself but as a responsibility we all share. I believe innovation isn't only about creating new things; it's about making the world a better place, helping humanity, and protecting all life forms that share this planet with us. I'm passionate about passing on my skills and experiences to younger generations because they are our future leaders, our hope, and the ones who will carry forward both progress and compassion.

Coming from Myanmar, I've seen firsthand how many brilliant and talented people around the world never get the right opportunities, education, or environments that match their strengths. It's heartbreaking, and it reminds me why we must help create chances for them — not just for fairness but for the future of the world.

I believe in being a polymath by learning across different subjects, exploring varied domains, and weaving them together to see patterns others might miss. This kind of cross-domain thinking isn't just interesting; it's essential. It's how we break barriers, solve impossible problems, and create innovations that truly matter.
